David Pecorelli

David Pecorelli is the Italian who became famous in Albania because he fabricated the story of his death.

Pecorelli has been arrested by the Italian authorities and is expected to be extradited to Tirana. 

He is wanted internationally by Albania since October 2021.

On September 18 last year, an incident with a boat revealed the mystery of the businessman's disappearance.

Një person ka njoftuar policinë se i kishte ardhur në ndihmë Davide Pecorellit, pasi motori i varkës së tij ishte djegur në ishullin e Montecristos. Ai e ka njohur biznesmenin, pavarësisht ndryshimeve që kishte bërë në pamjen e tij të jashtme.

Pas kësaj, prokurorët mbërritën në ishull, ku zbuluan se bëhej fjalë për biznesmenin italian që u zhduk në Pukë, ku makina e tij u gjet e shkrumbuar nga flakët. Davide Pecorelli ishte pajisur me dokumente false dhe duket se inskenoi zhdukjen e tij.
