The US Embassy in Tirana writes that since its adoption, the "Universal Declaration of Human Rights" has served as the foundational text that protects the human rights and fundamental freedoms inherent to all individuals, inspiring the adoption of more than 70 human rights treaties.

In her message on social networks, it is written that we must commit to building a world where everyone's rights are respected.

 "Today, on Human Rights Day, we honor the legacy of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and recommit ourselves to building a world where everyone's rights are respected everywhere. Since its adoption on December 10, 1948, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights has served as the foundational text protecting the human rights and fundamental freedoms inherent in all individuals, inspiring the adoption of more than 70 human rights treaties of man", the US Embassy in Albania writes in its post./ CNA.al
