Psychology speaks: Albanians, eager to show mental health problems

According to psychologist Entela Binjaku, Albanian citizens are afraid and reluctant to check their mental health problems.

During an interview in "Euronews", the psychologist stated that a national awareness campaign for mental health is needed, as there is still no reflection of mental health problems in the country.

 "There is still a kind of reluctance, a kind of reluctance, a kind of reluctance for mental health problems among our citizens. The downside of this is that if it is not followed in time it progresses, the condition worsens and can even lead to aggressive behavior. Our mental health institutions are inconsistent in their capacity. I think there is a need for a national awareness campaign centered on mental health. Community mental health service centers are much needed. We don't know the mental health situation well in the country", said psychologist Binjaku./ CNA.al
