"El Patroni" is beheaded in prison/ He was also accused of murdering

Leandro Antonio Norero Tigua was executed in a macabre manner inside the prison in Ecuador.

Leandro Norero Tiguas, known as the crime boss, was beheaded during a riot inside the penitentiary on October 3. 

He had been arrested since May 2022 for a case of money laundering, while his name was also linked to the murder of the Albanian Ergys Dashi in Ecuador.

 Albanian Ergys Dashi was killed on January 23, 2022 with 20 bullets in a bar in Ecuador.

Leandro Antonio Norero Tigua was called 'El Patron' and after his arrest he surprised the whole country, as he was known and said to be dead.

The 35-year-old, who was one of the main drug traffickers in the country, was wanted by Peruvian justice, but he faked his death in 2020, thus managing to evade Peruvian authorities.

But in 2022, Norero was jailed after a sting operation that netted him $6 million and gold bars.

According to the Police, Norero was the financier of three criminal gangs: Los Lobos - the second largest mega-gang in Ecuador, Los Tiguerones and Los Chone Killers. All three gangs are enemies of Los Choneros./ CNA.al
