Journalist Klodiana Lala has commented on the cyber attack, where hackers have published the data allegedly leaked from the MEMEX system.

Invited to the show Open, Lala says that it is not about data from the MEMEX system, but about a merger of data that aims to destabilize the country.

However, Lala has stated that sources say that not only MEMEX, but also other systems have been hacked.

Among other things, the journalist says that the state police is working manually today.

“Shqetësimi që kam ngritur është se është një ngjarje e rëndë, si në sistemin TIMS edhe të tjera, autoritetet nuk duan ta pranojnë. Të dhënat e sotme, në pamje të parë, nuk më rezulton sistemi MEMEX por personash të skeduar dhe në kërkim dhe nuk ngjan me Memex, i cili në thelb është bërthama lënda fillestare e policisë së shtetit. Aty gjen cdo gjë për një emër të caktuar. Flasim për Ervis Martinaj që është i zhdukur, por çdo herë që është hetuar apo marrë në pyetje është e përfshirë në Memex. Mënyra si është hedhur dhe anglishtja e përdorur, të lënë të mendosh që nuk është ky sistem. Por unë mendoj që Memex është marrë. Kam biseduar me zyrtarë dhe në një  nga drejtoritë kryesore në vend i kërkova një ndihmë  dhe më tha e kam të pamundur sepse nuk kemi asnjë material në kompjutera dhe i kemi shkëputur nga sistemi e po punojmë manualisht. Sot policia e shtetit punon manualisht. Burimet më thonë që jo vetëm Memex por edhe sisteme të tjera janë hakeruar.

Asked what could happen if the data of the MEMEX system comes out, Lala said:

" As far as I know, in the case of Peleš, it has never been filed. Contingent list, seems to me to be a mix of data. They have the identity and no other data. It may have been done deliberately to destabilize the country.

Cyber ??attacks are done either for money or destabilization. We have no evidence that money was demanded, so destabilization and social tension remain.

I tried to buy one of the records that was pulled and I can't buy it. Until now, the Albanian government does not accept that money was requested in exchange for data ", said Lala./ CNA.al
