The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, sued three times in SPAK, has issued a statement to the media to ask Prime Minister Edi Rama to withdraw from the Fiscal Amnesty initiative.

According to Meta, this would lead to an increase in economic crime, and an increase in street crime, as well as an increase in Albanians in prisons.

"In this way, honest business and free local initiative would be hit. The trust of society, of the institution of law would be undermined and the criminal economy would be encouraged. It will lead to an increase in street crime and an increase in Albanians in prisons. It would weaken the efficiency of all the structures that have to fight money laundering.
