"Waste"/ Rama keeps aside the incinerator affair

Prime Minister Edi Rama has stated that they have changed the situation regarding waste management.

According to him, today 90% of the waste is collected, while this 10% should be treated as a big problem.

“Kur ne e nisëm këtë rrugëtim 50% e mbetjeve mbeteshin rrugëve, i merrnin ujërat, digjeshin shumë pranë zonave të banuara. Banorët e Kombinatit në Tiranë, ato të Elbasanit dhe Fierit, ku sot situata është krejtësisht tjetër, besoj e kujtojnë akoma se çfarë ndodhte në zonat e tyre me malin e plehrave që sillte në çdo dritare ajrin e ndotur dhe toksik. Banorët e Durrësit e kujtojnë, por fatkeqësisht kanë mbetur në vëmendje edhe të të huajve që e kanë parë në lajmet e vendeve të tyre, fushën e mbushur me vargmale plehrash në Porto Romano. Që sot është një prej parqeve më të mëdha në vend. Sot ne jemi në 910% të grumbullimit dhe kemi akoma një sasi relativisht të vogël që mbetet e pa grumbulluar, por që duhet trajtuar si problem i madh edhe pse është e vogël”, është shprehur Rama.

Më tej kryeministri ka përmendur Himarën si histori suksesi.
