The works in the Llogara Tunnel encounter karst caves, over 3 km open

The works for the Llogara tunnel that connects Dukat with Palasa in a length of 6 km continue at a fast pace.

"We are on the southern side where work is being done or on the Dukat side the tunnel has been opened about 2 thousand meters or 2 linear km. While on the Palasa side, the tunnel has been opened for 1800 meters, i.e. a total of 3800 linear meters. The term of the contract is 33 months, but our objective is to finish it before this term", says Ardino Halimi, works engineer.

Punimet për ndërtimin e tunelit të Llogarasë nisën në nëntor të vitit 2021. Sipas inxhinierit të punimeve, punimet po ecin me ritme të kënaqshme, ndërsa ky investim pritet të lehtësojë ndjeshëm trafikun gjatë ditëve të verës si dhe të krijoj më shumë aksesueshmëri për të gjithë ata që zgjedhin të pushojnë më bregdetin e jugut.

Inxhinieri i punimeve tregon vështirësitë e hasura gjatë punimeve, por edhe lehtësirat që do të sjellë ky investim.

“Në pjesën Jugore ose në anën e Palasës ku po punohet te tuneli kryesor kemi hasur në një shpellë karstike e cila është konsiderueshëm e madhe dhe për momentin është stabilizuar. Gjithashtu, në të njëjtën kohë ekipi i inxhinierëve dhe i supervizorëve po punojnë për zgjidhjen përfundimtare të saj. Ky tunel lehtëson aksesin me bregdetin dhe normalisht do të ulë ndjeshëm trafikun në qafën e Llogarasë”, shprehet inxhinieri.

Sipas banorëve të zonës, ky investim është një vepër që ju përket të gjithëve.

It shortens the path a lot. When it's for the republic, it's also for Dukat, for Tragjas, and for Radhima, but first and foremost it's for tourists," says a resident of Dukat.
