Genta Sula, head of the Files Authority, says that a large number of personalities who were former employees of Sigurimi continue to work today.

In the show Now on Euronews Albania, Sula showed that issues of confronting the past arise at certain moments, as happened recently, when, as he said, it was understood that decommunization was insufficient.

She stated that the last figure reported by the institution she leads is 78 former security employees who are still working, as the Authority explained, it only provides information to the institutions and they decide what to do with their employees.

"The last number we reported was 78. We said before that the verification was not done for everyone, only a small part. We cannot follow them, we give the information to the institutions and the institutions themselves decide what to do. In some institutions there are lustrative articles.
