Journalist Klodiana Lala has shared new information today regarding the assassination attempt near Rinas on Gilmando Dani.

Invited to the show "The Unexposed" with Ylli Rakipi, Lala revealed that from the suspicions so far, it is believed that Dani was one of Emiljano Shullazi's most loyal people.

Lala also revealed details from Dani's private life, who according to her lived mostly in Barcelona.

"Gilmando Dani had his sentence reduced and was released on bail. He was sentenced to 12 years for extortion. It concerns the former Volgën hotel, which Shullazi had taken 30% of the property from by threats. There was also a conflict over the issue of electing the rector of the University of Tirana.

Gilmando Dani was released from Rrogozhina prison in October 2024, he has kept a low profile after that, there was no talk. But opponents saw him as Shullazi's deputy. He was withdrawn, on the verge of marrying an architect. He lived in Barcelona most of the time. It seemed like he had taken a step back.
