A serious event shocked Berat a day ago, where it was reported about the rape of 2 girls, respectively 16 and 20 years old.

After the case was made public, the families of the people involved in this event also reacted.

The family of one of the accused for the rape, 33-year-old Andon Shoshari, and the family of the minor girl have given their versions regarding the incident.

Andon Shoshari's brother-in-law talks about a staged event and that it is all a lie.

"Andon Shoshari cohabited (as married) two years ago with the 16-year-old, when she was 14-years-old, as we Roma do, and they stayed together for a few months and then separated. We live next to the girl's family, we also have family in and out, the girl is engaged. Andoni had gone out for coffee with his friend, and the Kovaçi family, where the girl is engaged, did it out of anger, forcing the girl to report Andoni, after they found out that she had previously been married to him. "Andoni is in prison without evidence or facts, based only on the words of the girl," he said.

The minor's mother supports the version that Andoni is the son of her sister-in-law, with whom her daughter had a relationship a few years ago.

She claims that both boys are good boys and did not commit the crime.

According to Rudina, her maid was lied to by her fiance's family and lied to the police about the incident.

"Me, my brother-in-law, mother-in-law and the maid's fiance don't let me see my maid", says the girl's mother.

The father of 20-year-old Andon Shoshari has stated that all the accusations against his son are untrue.
