The Tirana police managed to save an Italian tourist, who had lost his way while exploring Dajti Mountain, due to the steep terrain.

Yesterday evening, after a 5-hour search and rescue operation, it became possible to locate the foreign tourist, citizen LM, 20 years old.

The 20-year-old is in good health, and after receiving help, he thanked the police officers for their readiness and professionalism.

Police Notification: 

After several hours of search and rescue operation, Police Station No. 4, comes to the aid of 1 Italian tourist, who had lost his way during the exploration of Mount Dajti, due to the steep terrain.

Yesterday evening, around 10:00 p.m., a notification was received that 1 tourist from Italy had lost his way while exploring Dajti mountain, and as a result had been isolated on the steep terrain of the mountain, between two villagers.

Immediately after the announcement, the services of Police Station No. 4, have organized a search and rescue operation, and after 5 hours of intensive searching, due to the difficult and steep terrain, as well as the remoteness of the country from the area that can be traversed by vehicles, the location of the foreign tourist was made , LM citizens, 20 years old.

The 20-year-old is in good health, and after receiving help, he thanked the police officers for their readiness and professionalism.
