Denaj meeting with the farmers of Korça/ Clarifies the support scheme in

Increasing the quality of Albanian products will make it possible for our products to capture regional and global elite markets.

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Anila Denaj, held a meeting with farmers and ranchers of Korça and Maliqi, where she clarified in detail the national support scheme, which was approved a few days ago by the Government.

According to Denaj, the support will be in 8 measures and it is expected that 77% of farmers with grandchildren will benefit. Operators' Associations will have priority support, which will maximize the benefits in each scheme.

Minister Denaj emphasized the fact that if we do not apply the same protocols as in agriculture and livestock, we cannot be competitive in the market.

The national agriculture support scheme was approved by the Council of Ministers and is expected to benefit over 70,000 farmers through 8 different measures.

Applications are expected to open at the end of March with the aim of finding spaces to support all applicants.
