Today in the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Elbasan, the court session of Dritan Dajti took place, who participated in the trial through a video conference.

Dajti requests the verification of the end of the 25-year prison sentence.

During the session, the representative of the legal office of IEVP Peqin reported to the Court about the time Dritan Dajti was serving his sentence.

"We have sent a letter to the General Directorate of Prisons and the Ministry of Justice to help us calculate the time of the sentence, as some decisions have changed and it has become difficult for us to accurately calculate the number of years of the sentence," she said. .

On the other hand, Dritan Dajti in the reaction expressed how it is possible that IEVP does not calculate the years of the sentence. According to him, IEVP Peqin is taking the attributes to calculate the decisions of the courts, which is not its competence.
