Journalist Esiona Konomi has announced that the entire cabinet of former Speaker of the Assembly Elisa Spiropali was dismissed a day ago, staff that will be replaced with the cabinet of the new Speaker of the Assembly, Mr. Niko Peleshi.

Through a post on social media, the journalist told us how much the Spiropali cabinet has cost Albanian taxpayers.

Konomi has published the list of Spiropal's staff, among them the son of Shkodra Mayor Benet Beci, Edon Beci, in the position of advisor, which costs Albanian taxpayers 1,800 euros per month.

With a touch of irony, the journalist points out that a hairdresser or makeup artist could also be found on the list.

"Yesterday a friend, with a kind of alarm, contacted me to inform me that the new Speaker of the Assembly, Niko Peleshi, had dismissed the entire cabinet of the previous Speaker, Elisa Spiropali, en bloc.

"It's normal," I told him. The political staff left along with the head of the department."
