The journalist raised the alarm: God forbid, there was a fire in the Tirana

Journalist Elvi Fundo has raised the alarm regarding the situation in Tirana's landfill.

In the Opinion show with the journalist Blendi Fevziu, it was stated that the situation in Tirana's landfill is catastrophic, as we have a mountain of garbage.

The journalist emphasizes that its potential capacity has been filled and the government must cancel the contract and it is urgent to find a good management for that landfill because if any fire occurs it would bring very serious consequences, also mentioning the case of burning waste in the collection point in Elbasan.

"In Tirana we are facing a catastrophic situation in my view. A mountain of garbage has become in the landfill, the potential capacity of what is there has been filled and I am saying whether the government's plan should be taken. He must cancel the contract, urgently find a good management for that landfill because God forbid if there is a fire", said journalist Fundo. / CNA
