He also added that Mereme Sela is one of the names that has submitted the application and will be evaluated if it meets the criteria to be part of the competition.

"Every member of the DP who wishes to run for any institution of this party and meets the criteria has the door open and will be welcome to run. On March 13, I communicated that the competition is open and we have been transparent about this. Anyone who aspires to apply has had a month's deadline. Every member of the DP who meets the criteria is welcome. For the Democratic Party, you have to be someone who serves the Democrats and not Rama. Mereme Sela is a Democrat, she is a member and has brought the documents. Then it will be assessed whether she meets the criteria.
