The situation of the fires in Malin e Thaë continues to be problematic, although there is a change in the intensity of the flames today.

CNA has provided some images from the fires in Malin e Thate where it can be seen that the foci are still active.

The outbreaks are currently isolated from each other and are being kept under control.

The fire is in rugged territory and at a far distance from residential areas. Since 05:30 this morning, all forces have been engaged in the field.

About 70 forces from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Armed Forces of the Drenovë (Korçë) Military Department, those of the Regional Agency of Protected Areas, the forestry service, etc., have descended on the ground today.

The whole challenge is not to touch the high vegetation, the forces are doing their best to isolate the flames and narrow the perimeter.

The burned area so far is approximately 200 hectares, most of it pastures and a small part of the area has been affected by the green crown./ CNA
