Charge d'Affaires David Wisner, Defense Attaché Eric Cote and their families visited the beautiful city of Korça.

During the visit, Wisner met an embassy-supported assistant English teacher who teaches the city's residents.

He also met several business owners in the Korça Market who have benefited from the support of the Albanian-American Development Foundation (AADF).

In a post on the social networks of the American Embassy it is said that the positive impact of AADF's non-profit work on the local community and economy was extraordinary.

During his visit to Korçë, Wisner visited the first Albanian school, Mësonjëtoren, and participated in a special ceremony commemorating the armistice during the First World War.

He also visited Voskopoja and the church of Saint Nicholas, which the United States helped to restore as the first project of the Ambassadors' Fund for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage in Albania in 2001./ CNA
