Dritan Rexhepi, the Albanian capo who organized a sophisticated structure for sending cocaine from Ecuador to Europe was arrested in Turkey on November 10.

Mario Pazimo, former prosecutor in Ecuador spoke about Rexhepi's arrest in an interview for Euronews Albania.

He emphasized that his drug activity will continue and why he is in prison, since he has built the structure in this way.

"The fact that they were both in the same prison together. In the prison there is a very large number of organizations that may be in conflict with each other. This could have brought a clash between them. There have been clashes in prisons for 5-6 years. And why Dritan Rexhepi has been arrested, the group will continue to function because the conditions in Ecuador for the penetration of these criminal organizations are very simple. The dollar is used in the country, there are borders that are not closed. You can only change your identity.
