The daughter of former President Bujar Nishanik, Fiona Nishani has remembered her late father with a very special photo.

In a post on Instastory, Fiona posted a photo with her father, at the time when the latter was president. The two are photographed together in the office, where they look quite happy.

The sixth former President of the post-communist Republic of Albania, Bujar Nishani, passed away on May 28, after being hospitalized in Germany for weeks and passed away clinically without the possibility of recovery.

The former head of state's health situation worsened after he was infected with COVID-19 two months ago. He was suffering from an autoimmune disease in the liver and failed to overcome the consequences that the infamous virus had left on his body. /CNA.al
