Dozens of citizens from Kukes have ended up in the emergency room with symptoms of poisoning.

The first suspicions are that this may have come from the water, as it turned out to be turbid.

Doctor Albert Shehu has stated that it is not known if we are dealing with a virus or poisoning, while he adds that so far we are talking about 50 people hospitalized.

Most of them, 40 are with belly and vomiting, but patients with diarrhea and fever are not excluded.

 'Having increased numbers in the emergency can be viral condition and intoxication (poisoning) that can be from water and vegetables. There is an increased influx of 50 visits today only some of which with diarrhea and vomiting, are also accompanied by fever. We have been able to cope with the influx so far. All age groups, mostly pediatrics. The Directorate of Hygiene has been notified, it is not known why it was caused ..'- said the emergency doctor in Kukës, Albert Shehu for the media.
