ALBANIAN WONDERS:
"When our people sold houses for this muzzle."
This face is called Maksude Kadena, otherwise known as Sudja. In 1993 he founded a pyramid firm which amassed more than 80,000 creditors. Sudes's story is as absurd as the very function of these firms.
People sold houses and gave this person money.
The court was the first to go bankrupt in late 1996, creating a domino effect throughout the system of 24 pyramid schemes that were created at the time. The bankruptcy of the Sudes also sparked the first protests in 1997.
Albanians trusted 1.2 billion dollars!
On November 16, 1996, Sudja nodded at a palace window, in front of which thousands of people were waiting, and said:
"The money is gone. The competent took them all. " /CNA.al
