Many citizens have chosen to head to the coast of Vlora this Sunday, leaving the capital almost 'empty'.

The blue uniforms have appealed to all drivers to respect the traffic rules and not to make overtaking that makes the circulation of vehicles even more difficult.

"The tourist season is now at its peak, there is an increased influx of arrivals and departures in tourist areas. Weekends are busy. In the coastal area we have taken increased measures of our services starting from the Trans-Balkan road, Lungomare area , the Cold Water area and the Radhima part represent the largest load.

The Himara area is a little quieter, more manageable. In the areas we are talking about, measures have been taken for traffic congestion points at several intersections.
