Today the Court of Appeal gave the final decision for the deputy Ervin Salianji, who was sentenced to 1 year in prison by the Court of Fact, this decision was upheld by the Appeal in connection with the case known as "Babalja".

CNA has been able to obtain data from experts and the jury regarding the legal procedure that is already being followed, following a decision given by the Court of Appeal.

The final decision given by the Appeal, according to the upheld Fact decision, is 1 year in prison. Ervin Salianji should spend 1 year in a cell, day by day in prison.

The legal procedure has a single appeal route, the convicted party addresses the Supreme Court , i.e. by Ervin Salianji, regarding the suspension of the implementation of the decision, which is a matter that must be pursued with an accelerated procedure for the Supreme Court to grant a decision, but this does not mean that Salianji is saved, not at all.

Immediately after the announcement of the decision, the case is notified to the prosecutor who pursued the charge.

The prosecutor, after ascertaining the court's decision, notifies the Assembly and then the Mandates Council that because of this sentence Ervin Salianji should be removed from his immunity, who should then be escorted by the police, arrested and sent to prison institutions.

So, Ervin Salianji has the opportunity to appeal to the Supreme Court, but until the Supreme Court gives its decision, the prosecutor must notify the Assembly.

Then, in case the Supreme Court suspends the decision for implementation, Ervin Salianji does not go to prison, but waits for other legal steps .

In the event that the Supreme Court upholds the implementation decision, Ervin Salianji must serve a full year in prison day by day, according to the final decision of the Court of Appeal, which upheld the decision of the Court of Fact./ CNA
