They falsified the decision of the Tirana and Greek Courts of Appeal/ The Fier

A lawyer and a translator were sent to trial by the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction, Fier, on charges of committing the criminal offense of 'Forgery of documents' committed in collaboration, as provided for in Article 186/2 of the Criminal Code.

From the investigations into criminal proceedings no. 857, of 2025, it resulted that on 29.05.2025, to the Civil Status Office, Fier Municipality, a judicial decision of the Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction of Tirana dated 12.02.2025 with applicant FH and subject to recognition and granting legal force for implementation in the Republic of Albania of the decision of the Court in Greece was sent, by postal service. A decision which, after carrying out investigative actions, resulted to be falsified.

After conducting investigative actions and administering evidence, it turned out that the documents sent by postal service were sent by citizens AK and AM, who not only appeared several times at the Civil Registry Office to inquire, but AM, with her authority as an expert in the laws, made efforts to influence their registration at the civil registry office.

The defendant AK, in collaboration with lawyer AM, forged and used both decisions, both that of the Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction of Tirana and that of the Greek court, in order to obtain the divorce of citizen FH, through a forged decision of a foreign court, also fabricating the recognition of that decision in the Albanian court, through the forged decision of the Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction of Tirana, in order to then enter into a legal marriage with citizen FH, with whom she was also in an intimate relationship.

The Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier remains committed to guaranteeing the regular activity of public administration bodies, as well as private persons, regarding the drafting, administration and issuance of documents, which include both official and private acts./ CNA
