Prime Minister Edi Rama has responded to the head of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha regarding the accusations of ties with the former FBI official, Charles McGonical.
In a statement to the media, Rama said that in the final indictment of the American Justice there is nothing related to him or the government.
Among other things, when asked if he will allow a parliamentary commission to be set up to investigate this issue, Rama attacked the opposition saying that it was investigated by the American Justice and that this cannot be contradicted by the self-judgment of the Pulpit or Vula.
"This matter has been investigated by the American judiciary and conclusions have been drawn. If you think this can be disputed by the self-judgment of the Pulpit or seal, I have no comment. People choose to believe, for example, that a great Russian oligarch has come to Karavasta to benefit from pomegranates and strawberries," said Rama./ CNA.al
