Around 17:40 on Saturday, 3 Russian citizens tried to enter the arms factory in Gramsh.

Euronews Albania journalist Xhensil Shkëmbi reported on Sunday morning from the weapons factory in Gramsh, where one of the residents of the area confessed what she had seen the day before.

Fatmira Shaipi, whose apartment is located very close to the factory, said that she had seen the car in which the Russian citizens were driving at least 2 times yesterday.

“Makinën e kam parë dy herë dje, një herë para shiut një herë pas shiut. Kur dolëm, panë që bërtisnin ushtarët të cilëve u kishte ikur i huaji (rusi)”, tregoi  banorja e zonës.

Ajo tregoi se shtetasi rus që u kishte hedhur spraj ushtarëve të uzinës dhe më pas ishte kapur prej tyre, ishte i veshur me pantallona të shkurtra, kapele dhe çantë.

Në ish-uzinën e Gramshit nuk lejohet hyrja e civilëve, ndaj ushtarët i kanë kërkuar dokumentet shtetasit të huaj, por ky i fundit ka hedhur spraj në drejtim të ushtarit duke e neutralizuar.

Ndërsa Nderim Balliu, një tjetër banor i zonës pranë uzinës së armëve në Gramsh rrëfeu mes lotësh, frikën e përjetuar një ditë më parë kur 3 shtetas rusë tentuan të hynin në uzinë.

He indicated that inside the premises of the plant there are still many munitions that have not been removed, which, as he said, if they explode, could cause a real catastrophe.

"We heard that three Russians had arrived, they had been coming around for three days but we didn't pay attention to them because now is the period when there are many immigrants. There is the dynamite, going in there blows up the whole city. One of the Russians had entered, one was captured. He had the bag, camera, chips, which they say he put inside the factory, but these (soldiers) don't tell. They have only come to blow it up," said the resident of the area, the former employee of the weapons factory.

He burst into tears as he said that the incident had terrified the children, who had all gathered at his place the day before./euronews
