The wind favors the fire in Peshtan/ The air intervenes again

For several days, Peshtani i Fieri has been facing massive fires which have invaded the forested parts of the area.

According to reports, a new fire has started in the area of ??Cakran in the pine forest in Peshtan.

The high temperatures and the wind have favored the flames causing them to get out of control and spread towards the village of Kraps.

Seeing the extreme situation for the second time in a row, the Cougar helicopter of the Ministry of Defense has been engaged to extinguish the flames.

So far it is reported that the burned area is 25 hectares, which is a forested area.

A 28-year-old resident of the village of Peshtan is in handcuffs after allegedly starting a fire to open new pastures, but the flames got out of control, causing great damage to the forest surface./CNA.al
