This Wednesday 2023, the "Teacher of the Year 2023" evaluation ceremony took place 

In this ceremony, 10 teachers and two teams from high schools and 9-year-old schools throughout the country were awarded with prizes.

The Minister of Education and Sports Ogerta Manastirliu, during her speech at the ceremony, expressed the Albanian government's support for the historic increase in the salaries of pre-university teachers within the year 2024.

Below you can find the awards that were given and the teachers who received them:

The three awards for "Teacher of the year 2023" were given to teachers: Adela Puca from the 9-year school, "Demir Gashi", Peshkopi, teacher Oderina Ndreu from the "Asim Zeneli" gymnasium, Gjirokastër and teacher Ramazan Zaimi from the Vidhan school in Gramsh.

The "Teacher Promoter of Talents 2023" award was given to teacher Alketa Nikolla from the artistic high school, "Jan Kukuzeli" in Durrës.

The "Special Teacher 2023" award was given to teacher Nertila Hoxha from the 9-year school "Liri Kazazi" in Lushnjë.

The "Distinguished Teacher 2023" award was given to you by teacher Matilda Hoxha, director of the 9-year-old school "Riza Spahiu", in Kukës.

The "Psychologist/social worker 2023" award was given to you by teacher Majlinda Toma from the "Hydajet Lezha" Gymnasium in Lezha.

The "Sports Coach 2023" award was given to teacher Ardit Lama from the "Lef Sallata" school in Vlora.

The "Master Teacher 2023" award was given to teacher Edlira Tabaku, from the "Babë Dudë Karbunara" high school in Berat.

The "Innovator Teacher 2023" award was given to teacher Emirjeta Luzi, computer science teacher at "Sami Frashëri" secondary school, Tirana.

The "Best Team 2023" award for 9-year-old schools was given to the 9-year-old school "The First Albanian Teacher", Korçë.

The "Best Team 2023" award for secondary schools was awarded to the "28 November" gymnasium in Shkodër./ CNA
