Exclusive/ The head of the Guard resigned after Rama's order

A day ago, news was reported that the head of the Guard of the Republic of Albania, Ermal Onuzi, had resigned.

CNA has revealed the reasons for Ermal Onuz's resignation, which hide the scandals that occurred during his leadership of the Guard.

What was reported as a routine resignation was, in fact, a forced departure following Prime Minister Edi Rama's order to cover up dozens of scandals within the Republican Guard.

CNA has uncovered a letter that Guard officers sent to Prime Minister Edi Rama and Interior Minister Ervin Hoxha.

They express concerns about the problems that arose with the arrival of Ermal Onuz at the head of the Republican Guard.

Onuzi is accused of scandalous behavior and violation of the regulations of the Guard of the Republic of Albania.

The letter, obtained by CNA , addressed to Prime Minister Rama and Interior Minister Hoxha, states that Commander Onuzi and his directors made illegal appointments without competition, brutally violating the law.

It is also noted that there were movements of employees without any motivation and abuse of officers, who were abused by the head of the Guard and his directors.
