"Agron Malaj is also running to escape investigation"/ Evidence from Veliaj's file

The Special Prosecution Office has today communicated the charges to the arrested mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

SPAK has also included 30 defendants in this investigation.

One of the defendants, in the voluminous 60,000-page file, is police officer Fation Baci, whose testimony has revealed new details from the case.

It is learned that Bici stated that Velaij took his phone and had a phone conversation using his phone number.

"He told the person on the other end of the phone that he should be released and run for MP, because Agron Malaj is also running to escape SPAK," the investigative file against Erion Veliaj states.

As can be understood from this detail of the file, the name of Agron Malaj appears.

Malaj is known as the mayor of Mati and is one of the deputies elected on May 11.
