The appeal of the GJKKO returns the case of Alqi Bllako for retrial

The Special Appeal has decided today to return for retrial the case of former MP Alqi Bllako.

"The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime, with a panel composed of judges Saida Dollani (presiding), Miliana Muça (member) and Tereza Merkaj (member), on 23.07.2025, announced the decision regarding the case registered with no. 50 act, date 17.06.2025 registration, on the appeal filed by the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime and the appeal filed by the defendant AB, against decision no. 22, date 11.03.2025 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, and decided:

"Revocation of decision no. 22, dated 11.03.2025 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, ordering the transfer of the acts for trial to another panel of the same court," the announcement states./CNA
