Busy Monday/ 8 parliamentary committees

Today there will be a series of commissions that will meet.

According to the agenda, at 09:30 the committee for Labor, Social Affairs and Health will start where it will be discussed about the review of the draft law "On an addition and some changes to the law no. 60/2023 "On the special treatment of students who follow the integrated study program of the second cycle "General Medicine" in public institutions of higher education".

The draft law "On some amendments and additions to the law no. 10465, dated 29.9.2011, "On the veterinary service in the Republic of Albania", as amended", will also be examined. 

At 10:45 a.m. the Committee for Education and Public Information Media will meet where there will be a hearing with the Ministry of Education and Sports to discuss the draft law "On an addition and some changes to law no. 60/2023 "On the special treatment of students who follow the integrated study program of the second cycle "General Medicine" in public institutions of higher education", responsible commission.

Then the Committee for Economy and Finance will be convened, where it will be examined in the capacity of the committee to give its opinion on the draft law "On organic production, labeling of organic products and their control" and on the draft law "On some additions and changes to law no. 72/2012 "On the organization and operation of the national geospatial information infrastructure in the Republic of Albania"  

The Committee for Legal Affairs, Public Administration and Human Rights will meet at 11:00 a.m., where three bills will be considered:

1. Draft law "On some additions and changes to law no. 72/2012 "On the organization and operation of the national geospatial information infrastructure in the Republic of Albania"

2. Draft law "On some changes in the law no. 43/2020, "On marine tourism activities".

3. Draft law "On organic production, labeling of organic products and their control 

In the commission for National Security, there will be a hearing with the General Director of Prisons, regarding the annual report of the institution's activity for the year 2023.

The Commission for European Affairs will meet to discuss the draft law "On some additions and changes to the law no. 72/2012 "On the organization and operation of the national infrastructure of geospatial information in the Republic of Albania", for the review of the draft law "On organic production, labeling of organic products and their control" as well as on the draft law "On some changes and additions to the law no. 10 465, dated 29.9.2011, "On the veterinary service in the Republic of Albania", amended.

The Committee for Production Activities, Trade and the Environment will examine the draft law "On some changes in the law no. 43/2020, "On maritime tourism activities", in the capacity of the responsible committee. (Rapporteur Anduel Tahiraj) and the review of the draft law "On organic production, labeling of organic products and their control" in the capacity of the responsible committee. (Rapporteur Baftjar Zeqaj)

At the end, the investigation commission for sterilization and check-up will be convened./ CNA
