International Epilepsy Day/IPH: A reality that affects the lives of many people

February 9 marks World Epilepsy Day, a day that serves as a moment of reflection and awareness about the stigma that accompanies epilepsy, a reality that continues to affect the lives of many people around the world.

Through a commemorative event, the Institute of Public Health emphasizes that epilepsy not only affects physical health, but also affects daily life, social relationships, education and employment. In many cases, the biggest challenge is not the health condition itself, but the prejudices and misunderstandings that accompany it.
