The Ministry of Education has reacted to the serious incident of rape of a girl, in a private kindergarten, which is underlined to be unlicensed. 

In response, it is emphasized that the Ministry of Education does not tolerate any form of violence against children in educational facilities, public or private.

The Ministry of Education in cooperation with the State Police has immediately set up the institutional task force for the verification of entities that exercise activity in services for children, in cooperation with the local government and the state police.

"The Ministry of Education strongly condemns violent acts against children and demands a full clarification of the circumstances of the event, in order to take immediate and strict measures against those responsible. After the broadcast of the serious event on the show 'Stop' on TV Klan, the Ministry of Education and Sports has immediately asked the State Police and the Municipal Police to take measures for the immediate closure of the "Stinët" kindergarten, since, from the verifications carried out, it turns out that the kindergarten is illegal and carries out unlicensed activity as a private pre-university educational institution, pursuant to Law No. 10 081, dated 23.2.2009, 'On licenses, authorizations and permits in the Republic of Albania', as amended and Law No. 69/2012, 'On the pre-university education system in the Republic of Albania', as amended ", the announcement states.
