VKM comes out / "Tourism" "steals" 45 million ALL from the

At today's meeting of the Council of Ministers, a decision was made to redistribute funds.

Concretely, the Ministry of Finance has been deprived of 45 million lek from the annual fund and this money has been transferred to the budget of the Ministry of Tourism.

This money, according to VKM, will be used for the development and promotion of destinations, products and the diversification of the tourist offer in tourism.

Decision of the Council of Ministers:

Decision on redistribution of funds in the approved budget for 2023, between the Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Ministry of Tourism and Environment.

In support of Article 100 of the Constitution, Article 44 of Law No. 9936, dated 26.6.2008, "On the Management of the Budget System in the Republic of Albania", as amended, and Article 17 of Law No. 84/2022 , "For the 2023 budget", with the proposal of the Minister of Finance and Economy and the Minister of Tourism and Environment, Council of Ministers.

Set:

1. The Ministry of Finance and Economy, in the 2023 budget, in the "Labor Market" program, in article 606, the fund of 45,000,000 (forty-five million) ALL is reduced.

2. To the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, in the 2023 budget, in the "Development of tourism" program, in article 604, the fund of 45,000,000 (forty-five million) lek is added for the development and promotion of destinations, products and diversification of the tourist offer in tourism.

3. The Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Ministry of Tourism and Environment are charged with the implementation of this decision.

This decision enters into force immediately and is published in the "Official Gazette"./ CNA.al
