Temporarily suspends the counting in Kurbin

The counting of votes in the Kurbin municipality has been temporarily suspended.

The news has been confirmed by the Central Election Commission, which announces that the counting will resume at 16:00.

The CEC asks the police to take measures so that during the counting process they are present in the premises where the votes are counted.

Full decision:

Order for the suspension of the vote counting process in the CEZ No. 15, Kurbin municipality, in the elections for local government bodies on May 14, 2023.

In support of point 1, letter "b", and point 2, article 19 and article 116/1 of the Electoral Code, article 26, of the Code of Administrative Procedures, decision no. 23, dated 24.4.2023 "On the organization of work at the Vote Counting Site, the sequence of actions during the delivery of election materials, the counting of votes and the release of the election results for the electoral administration area, for the elections for local government bodies" and decision no. 12, dated 30.12.2020, "On the approval of the rules of State Police activity in the service of elections",

I order:

1. Suspension of the counting process in KZAZ no. 15, Kurbin municipality until 4:00 p.m.

2. KZAZ no. 15, in cooperation with the State Police, took measures so that during the counting process, only members of KZAZ and the secretary, members of counting groups, observers of electoral subjects, observers of other accredited persons, candidates and media, as well as technical personnel authorized by the CEC.

3. KZAZ no. 15 and the State Police are charged with the implementation of this order.

 This order takes effect immediately./ CNA.al
