Snow in some areas in Albania/ Here's how the situation looks

Even though we are officially in the spring season, some areas in Albania have been blanketed in snow.

Snowfall continued overnight in the North and Southeast of the country without causing traffic problems. Temperatures dropped to -9 °C in mountainous areas.

There was snowfall in Valbona, Bogë-Theth, Pukë-Fushë Arrëz-Kalimash, Qafë Mali-Fierzë, Klos-Peshkopi, Kukës-Ura Zapodit, Kukës-Bushtricë, in Qafë-Thane, Boboshticë-Dardhe, in Voskopoje,

The Korça region was also affected by snowfall, which reached 10 to 25 cm in mountainous areas. Currently, traffic continues normally on the main national and tourist axes. 

As a result of the wind, there are temporary power outages in the Administrative Unit of Udënisht and Buçima, the Municipality of Pogradec, the village of Orman-Çiflig, the village of Dardhë, as well as the villages of Dolenac, Mjaltas, and Besmirë. 12 villages in the administrative unit of Proptisht are also without power.

Snow removal vehicles have been working to clear the roads of snow and distribute salt.
