In a video posted on social media, the US embassy is urging citizens to avoid consulting firms that offer services in exchange for money. The US Embassy in Tirana has urged citizens not to fall prey to scams when applying for US visas.
"Do not trust anyone who promises to help you get a US visa in exchange for money. Visa agencies are primarily in it to make money, NOT to give you good advice. If they fill out your application incorrectly or with false information, YOU are responsible. Your application will be rejected and any valid visa may be canceled. Save your money and avoid scams – we provide information on how to fill out your own application for free," the embassy said in a statement, which also shows how to complete the application on its official website, the video says/ CNA
