Territorial Reform Commission

The Territorial Reform Commission has been accompanied by debates between the two co-chairs Anila Denaj and Dhurata Çupi. 

Çupi said that the majority will delay the issue, but demands that it be approved for the next local elections.

According to her, the majority is making fun of the Albanians and they want to reform just to make it easier for them to win the elections.

"You want to drag it out. The reform must be approved for the next local elections. The presidential decree for the upcoming elections is awaited. Our experts and we are ready to stay until the 30th on this issue and submit the report to the assembly within the deadline. You are not serious, you are making fun of the Albanians and you don't ask them at all. What you declare is irresponsible and frivolous. You want reform for the SP, so that you can get the elections on the table", says Çupi.

On the other hand, Denaj said that it is more required that experts and commissions better analyze the issue and that a hearing on the territorial issue be held in a few days./ CNA.al
