The Minister of State for relations with the Parliament, Elisa Spiropali, informed the Law Commission that the government has a plan to strengthen cyber security after the attacks from Iran.

Spiropali did not reveal many details, as he said that at this stage the project is confidential.

She informed that a report on cyber attacks has been sent to international allies, specifically DASH, the European Commission and NATO, who have also promised support for Albania regarding this issue.

 “Nuk është një grup fëmijësh që gjunjëzoi shtetin shqiptar, ja që paska qenë një sulm i sponsorizuar nga një shtet armiqësor, që ne kemi i ndërprerë marrëdhëniet diplomatike.

Ka reaguar SHBA-ja, aleatët, NATO. Është sulm shumë serioz mbi sistemet tona. A janë dëmtuar të dhënat në mënyrë të pakthyeshme? Jo. A janë shkatërruar shërbimet që ofrohen përmes sistemit tonë digjital? Jo. Pra, kemi mbërritur që të parandalojmë një dëm që mund të kishte shkatërruar sistemin e shërbimeve qeveritare.
