Analyst Andi Bushati commented today regarding the hypotheses regarding the conduct of the elections for the Municipality of Tirana, at a time when Mayor Erion Veliaj is in prison.

In a television studio, Bushati said that it is unclear how this process will continue, which according to him is in the hands of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

 "This depends on Rama. He gave a signal that he doesn't know how Veliaj's business is going. Rama no longer calls Veliaj mayor, he has taken away his ability to control the Municipality, he has torn up his decrees and released him from prison.

Are elections advantageous for Rama now? This too does not depend on legal factors, but on political calculations. Does Rama want elections now, or will he postpone them?
