Journalist Roland Qafoku has predicted the result of the May 14 local elections in some of the largest municipalities.

Qafoku told Euronews Albania that in these elections the battle will be stronger in Elbasan.

As for Tirana and Durrës, according to him, the Socialist Party takes them, while Shkodra is taken by the Democratic Party.

"My perception and what we know and have about the situation that happens in the two big political camps, SP is absolutely advantaged and it is not a little to think that as a result it wins because it is enough to take a few big municipalities.

We had a bracket on March 6, so we know. SP does not win in Shkodër, there is no dispute, but SP wins in Tirana, wins in Durrës. The battle will be very strong in Elbasan. DP has a very strong candidate there and I think that we are saying that the Stalingrad of the electoral battle will no longer be Tirana, but Elbasan", the journalist emphasized./ BA - CNA.al
