The head of the Democratic Party branch in Shkodra, Eliona Shkreli, has called on Shkodra citizens to participate in the national protest that will be held tomorrow in Tirana.

Shkreli stated during her statement that today Shkodra is being held hostage by a mayor who, according to her, is a product of crime and gangs.

Shkreli says that Beci and this government are stealing taxes from Albanians and Shkodra residents and therefore they should leave.

Dear citizens of Shkodra!

Today our city is being held hostage by a corrupt man named Benet Beci! Not with words, not with rumors, but with facts, with files, with judgment!

This man can no longer be mayor because he is a product of crime, gangs, and a government that has turned Albania into a wasteland!

Benet Beci thinks that Shkodra is being deceived with concerts, lights, and fake photos of investments!

But Shkodra has a memory!

Shkodra has dignity!

Shkodra does not chew propaganda!

This corrupt man is stealing Shkodra residents' taxes, he is desecrating our city and today he dares to touch the historical area of ??Shkodra, our identity, the soul of this city! He is destroying the future of our children! He is mocking the toil and sweat of Shkodra residents!

This political mercenary must resign from the position he holds without a clean vote! Corruption cannot be hidden behind a beard! Theft cannot be covered up with rolled-up sleeves! Crime cannot be cleared up with propaganda!

Benet Beci must resign as he can no longer represent the Shkodra of culture, history and heritage!

Dear citizens of Shkodra!

Today there is no left or right!

Today there is only one dividing line:

either with Shkodra, or with the thieves!

This government has stolen and continues to steal the taxes of the people of Shkodër and Albanians!

This government has stolen our hope!

He stole our youth!

Today the time has come to say enough is enough!

Enough with the misery, the people of Shkodran and Albanians deserve hope and economic prosperity!
