Adriatik Lapaj is being prosecuted

The leader of the Albania Becomes Movement, Adriatik Lapaj, has been criminally prosecuted by the police in connection with the protest held in front of the Parliament and the Prime Minister's Office.

In a video posted on social media, Lapaj states that he has been prosecuted for disturbing public order and peace.

"I received another medal today, my fifth. I was prosecuted for disturbing public order and peace. See you in the square, we won't stop ," Lapaj says in the video.

During the protest, clashes were recorded between protesters and police officers. After the protesters dispersed, police escorted four of the activists who participated in the protest. The protesters demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and stressed that there is no turning back from the protest. /CNA
