Carlo Bollino on the Balluk/Këlliçi wiretaps: The Leçjani of

DP MP Belind Këlliçi has reacted after Carlo Bollino's appearance in the Balluku file, where according to leaked communications, he received hundreds of millions of lek from the Albanian Anti-Corruption Agency.

Këlliçi emphasizes that the misused media functions precisely for the most nefarious purposes, not as a fourth power, but as a subcontractor of the corrupt affairs of the criminal power.

The MP says that the scheme is like in the case of Veliaj with the incinerators, where according to him, Carlo Leçjani of public money continues to greedily feed on state funds, this time under the umbrella of Belinda Balluku to stink up public opinion with propaganda.

Këlliçi adds that Carlo is not simply a media owner, but the embodiment of purchased journalism, of journalism that is sold, that serves, that protects, imposes fines and attacks according to order. According to him, Carlo Bollino is a provincial copy of the Italian "Tangentopolis" of the late '80s, but without the dignity of repentance.

He emphasizes that not only corrupt officials, but also fining journalists and media owners who serve the criminal system, must bear criminal and moral responsibility.

"The misused media functions precisely for the most nefarious purposes, not as a fourth estate, but as a subcontractor of the corrupt affairs of the criminal power."

That's why for 12 years she has been attacking the opposition, defending the government, relativizing scandals and remaining silent about the depopulation and misery of the real lives of citizens. Mercenary and executor of a sustainable interest scheme at the expense of Albanian taxpayers. That's why the Balluku File is the next chapter in the manual of criminal use of the media.

The scheme is primitive in essence, but refined in form. Carlos' media demands "accounts" for why the bribery projects are not being paid yet, while Ervis Berberi admits that a full 700 million lek have been approved. Neither for public interest, nor for transparency. But for the circulation of money within a closed power-media circle. Direct financial interest in the sweat of Albanians, control of editorial offices to turn them into slanderous, blackmailing mouthpieces and political shields for the government.

As in the Veliaj case with the incinerators, the pattern is the same: Carlo, the embezzler of public money, continues to greedily feed on state funds, this time under the umbrella of Belinda Balluku to stink up public opinion with propaganda.

The media, which does not demand an account of why public money was stolen, but why it has not yet received its share, this is Carlos' model of journalism.

Carlo appears wherever there are affairs. As I have publicly denounced, he is behind the kidnapping of 4 thousand square meters of public land in Tirana, land intended for a school, transformed into a media building with money obtained from AKSHI funds. A perfect symbol of the decline of the state, an ATM for his clients.

Thus, Carlo is no longer simply a media owner, but the embodiment of purchased journalism, of journalism that is sold, that serves, that defends, imposes fines, and attacks on demand. A provincial copy of the Italian "Tangentopolis" of the late 1980s, but without the dignity of repentance.

It can't last any longer. This disgusting symbiosis must end. Not only corrupt officials, but also fining journalists and media owners who serve the criminal system must be held criminally and morally responsible.

"Not as victims of pressure, but as active parts of the scheme. Because embezzled public money and paid attacks are two of the same crimes. And both are done at the expense of Albanian citizens," Këlliçi writes.
