Deputy The Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, has given good news for the Llogara tunnel project.

Balluku said in Euronea Albania that the good geological formations they have found in the area have helped the project. She stated that they expected to have more water, but the water reserves have exceeded the forecasts.

Looking at the situation of the works, the minister emphasized that at the end of February, the Llogara tunnel will see the light, although the works were expected to be completed at the beginning of 2025.

"We had anticipated that sources would be found that would be used to supply the southern part, since there we have an increase in investments in terms of construction and visitors. As for the tunnel at the end of February, outside of any forecast and contract, the Llogara tunnel will see the light", Balluku underlined./ BA - CNA.al
