The Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, has stated that one of the acts approved at the government meeting is the compensation for 54 subjects who belong to the class of former political victims.
Manja, during the statement to the media, said that the government will continue to support the former political victims.
"We decided on the compensation of former convicts from the communist system, this for 54 subjects. The subjects of our decision are not only for those who have suffered it themselves, but also their family members. The compensation measure will be paid in installments. This measure neither undoes nor reverses the suffering, but it is a necessary measure in legal and moral terms, as it shows the government's support for this long-suffering category. It is the 29th decision that we have passed during our government, there will be other decisions", said Manja./ CNA.al
