Balla meets the High Inspector of Justice/ Demands punishment for magistrates who violate the law

Interior Minister Taulant Balla held a meeting this Wednesday with the High Inspector of Justice, Artur Metani.

During the meeting, Ballan expressed concerns regarding some decisions of the magistrates, as well as regarding the avoidance in some cases of harsh punishments in cases of weapons possession without a permit.

The High Inspector of Justice, Metani, said that there will be maximum commitment for the verification of such cases, as well as their priority treatment.

Metani guarantees that any magistrate who breaks the law will be punished.

The High Inspector of Justice, Metani, and the Minister of the Interior, Balla, shared the will of the two institutions that they lead, to increase cooperation, stressing the need for the exchange of information or data in official channels, on the behavior or concrete decision-making of magistrates, which may constitute disciplinary violations and should be dealt with by the Office of the High Inspector of Justice./CNA.al
